Remediation Services

TPT assists clients in selecting cost-effective and appropriate remedial technologies to bring sites to an economic and timely closure. This is generally done through a combination of risk assessment and remedial actions. When cleanup to non-detect levels is technically impossible or cost prohibitive, risk assessment can be used to support a "no action" recommendation or establish a cleanup level for soil or groundwater based on the risks to public health and the environment.

When remediation is required, TPT has the expertise to recommend, design, and implement remedial actions. TPT has designed and installed treatment systems for soil and groundwater remediation projects using a variety of technologies, including:

Bioremediation/treatability studies
Soil vapor extraction (in situ/ex situ)
Chemical fixation stabilization
Thermal treatment
Slurry wall construction
Heavy metals stabilization
Free-product recovery
Pump and treat
Air stripping
Air sparging

TPT can perform on-site tests and pilot studies to evaluate the effectiveness of a chosen remedial technology, thereby helping to avoid costly remediation mistakes.

TPT prepares the feasibility studies, corrective action plans and remedial action plans required by regulatory agencies and provides permitting services as well as operations and maintenance support during remediation.
